Women Safety

Safety and security invasions are an everyday phenomenon for women in India. Women traveling alone often encounter threats to safety like harassment, kidnapping and heinous crime rape. The inadequacy of safety is one of the biggest reasons for falling employment rates among women in India. Our hackathon endeavours to empower women of our country through innovative and implementable ideas that can create and promote the safety of women.

IOT

The Internet of Things in simple terms means taking all the things in the world and connecting them to the internet. IoT is about extending the power of the internet beyond computers and smartphones to a whole array of new environments. Those connected things can gather information, send information back or both. We aim to use IoT to develop a working prototype or an innovative application that serves a remarkable purpose.

Blockchain

Blockchain makes the history of any digital asset unchangeable and transparent through the use of decentralisation and cryptographic hashing. The peer-to-peer nature of blockchain eliminates the requirement for a centralised platform resulting in lower transaction fees and enhanced data transparency. The focus of our hackathon is to build a decentralised application to share assets among the individuals.

Cybersecurity

Cybersecurity is one of the leading areas in tech. As attackers continue to find ways to commit cybercrime by breaching our systems. The market is expanding at a rapid rate for innovative security solutions. Our hackathon aims for connecting this diverse ecosystem of security solutions to improve the speed and accuracy of our cyber defences.

AR/VR

Augmented/Virtual reality is one of the most promising technologies of the near future. Pokemon Go and Snapchat lenses are the perfect examples of the potential of AR. Using VR devices one can get comprehensive compelling experience shutting out the physical world. Our hackathons encourage the AR/VR designers to innovate and create any inspiring product or provide a solution for any problem using AR/VR.

Open Innovation

Open innovation is a platform for all those astonishing agile brains out there who have fabulous ideas to start a new business using any technology or concept they prefer. It is the perfect opportunity for developers to showcase their creativity as they are not bound to any particular problem or technology. Our hackathon encourages the development of creative solutions for any critical problem.
